This one is a “keeper”. The performance is outstanding, and it is a flat-out fun driver to hit. It is a shame that callaway have stopped making them: Think FT-5 would suit younger player with faster handspeed. Mine has a regular stiffness shaft. There’s no need to try and hit the ball with this club, just let it drop into place with an easy swing and it flies.

Callaway Golf is enjoying a resurgent after a couple off-years.
The face is also very deep but not very wide. We were able to hit our standard driver shots, from high power fades to bullet draws, without changing our swings.
Callaway Fusion FT-3 Driver Review | Equipment Reviews | Today’s Golfer
The slice is still plagueing me and now I have a horendous draw as well. My second round with the FT-3 in my bag was my low round of the summer, and I improved it by three strokes the following round.
Can I work the ball a little? Flight is the ‘rainbow’ I have not got close to with my K, lovely and high use Pro V1 yet great carry and then some roll. Even when I bsrtha my hips rotated too much, or my head pulled up slightly the ball hangs on. Rate this product Select rating 1 star rubbish 2 stars poor 3 stars average 4 stars very good 5 stars outstanding You must ccallaway a rating. I can push and pull of course but thats my swing, mis hits find the target, no doubt about that.
In all, each FT-3 driver has more than 40 grams of what Callaway calls discretionary weight redistributed to key areas of the clubhead. The most impressive thing about the FT-3 was the ball flight it created. But does it work for us hackers who have that shot which turns from power fade to perplexingly ugly power slice? Given the huge array of lofts and weight positions, the FT-3 should appeal to nearly any type of golfer.
The above reviews I am seriously excited about getting down the range to have a blast with it. The Result is 2nd in the tournmment. The Callaway Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 driver is an improvement on the composite Fusion driver, but only it’s mother would love it’s looks! Mine has a regular stiffness shaft.
Callaway FT-3 Draw Driver Reviews
First, ff3 head is much larger. I was amazed at the hang time my drives had with the FT-3, and the carry distance that went with it. The titanium face helped improve the sound, but the ERC Fusion was still not the resounding success at retail that Callaway expected.
The clubhead continues to impress me. I used the shop by custom shaft option and was able to find just what I was looking for. Although it’s now about years old – what a club it really does fly. Personally I love the sound off the face, far far better and superior to the dull cricket bat thud of the Cobra L4V I’ve exchanged it for.
A long, accurate and forgiving driver. Fortunately, Callaway appears to have made big improvements here as well. In addition, the Tour models are set up slightly open, while the standard models are a degree or two closed based on the loft. For complete specs, see callawaygolf. Helpline I can fully recommend this driver.
But it is a positive, confident sound that matches the smooth feel you notice at impact. There are some relatively minor cosmetic differences between the standard FT-3 and the Tour model. I have always been a pretty straight-to-draw hitter and I just needed a bit bigger head than the ERC Fusion for extra forgiveness when I really wanted to go go for flat out swings.
Once the weather improves and i can get out on the course my handicap can only improve. Had sraw best round for weeks last night. User Reviews Richard Evans.
